Have you ever ordered from India Domino’s using website or mobile app? Then your personal data might be compromised.


From the last few months, India’s servers are becoming a juicy target for the hackers and which is constantly being rising. After the data leak of MobiKwik, Upstox, BigBasket and number of other companies, it is now 

Domino’s India that recently faced a massive data breach.


According to Alon Gal, CTO of Hudson Rock, a hacker on the dark web claimed to hacked Domino’s India and stole 13 TB of customers’ data along with 250 of its employees.




 

Also, as per the hacker’s post on dark web, s(he) has collected data on 180 million past orders, containing names, phone numbers, email IDs, address, payment details, and details of 1 million credit/debit cards of the customers.

Hacker is selling data against payment of 10 bitcoins which is nearly Rs. 4.25 crore ($ 569,000). Although, Domino’s India has neither confirmed nor denied the breach.

 

One of the independent cybersecurity researcher, Rajshekhar Rajaharia, reported the incident to CERT-In (Computer Emergency Response Team- India) on March 5. According to his statement to IANS, 

“I had alerted CERT-in about a possible Domino’s Pizza India hack where the threat actor got data access with details like 200 million orders and personal data of the users too. The hacker, however, did not provide any sample,” Rajaharia said.

 

 

WHAT DO I DO?

  • Immediately change your Domino’s account password and built a strong one which you haven’t used earlier.

  • For your card protection, block the international transactions (if enabled).
  • Change the PIN of your card and login & transaction password of internet banking and mobile banking.


  • Beware of any mail or message you receive claiming from Domino’s and asking you to confirm your account or to take some actions to protect your account from the breach. Properly investigate such messages or mails before responding.
  • Beware if any person calls and claim to be Domino’s employee and need you to take some actions which look suspicious.
  • Report such incidents to the law enforcement as well to the company.
  • You may face some other forms phishing attempts in your mail or your phone number messages which are targeted with our names and other details, so be aware of such.
  • Keep an eye on your Domino’s account activity and your bank & card account activities.
